Anne's Hot Potato Salad from Anne Vanderhorst
Ingredients:
5 medium potatoes; peeled and sliced
1 large onion; chopped
12 slices bacon; cooked and crumbled [save 2 Tablespoons bacon grease]
Directions:
Pour the 2 Tblsp. bacon grease into a large skillet and add 1 1/2 Tblsp. flour, 2 Tblsp. sugar, 1 1/2 tsp. salt, 1/4 tsp. pepper and slowly stir in 1 cup water along with 1/3 cup vinegar. Add the crumbled bacon, onion and potatoes. Simmer over low heat 10 minutes or until warm; stirring occasionally.
